A-Level Tuition

Degree-level tutors, small groups of four, focused on the depth of understanding that A-Level grades require. Six or twelve-week programmes.

A-Level is a different game.

GCSE rewards breadth. A-Level rewards depth. The students who struggle at A-Level are often the ones who were strong GCSE students but find that working from bullet points and memory doesn't get them very far when the questions need extended, analytical responses.

Our A-Level tutors have degrees in their subject. When a student asks a question that goes beyond the syllabus, the tutor can answer it properly rather than retreating to the textbook. That depth of understanding changes the nature of the session.

We focus equally on essay and long-answer structure, mark scheme analysis, and pure content knowledge. A student who knows the material but can't convey it in a way examiners mark highly is leaving grades on the table.

Subjects offered

Six A-Level subjects,
degree-qualified tutors.

Mathematics
Dr Sarah Chen, Ahmed Hassan

Pure Maths, Mechanics, and Statistics. Both tutors hold postgraduate mathematics qualifications. We work with all major A-Level Maths boards: Edexcel, AQA, and OCR.

Further Mathematics
Dr Sarah Chen, Ahmed Hassan

For students taking Further Maths alongside A-Level Maths. Complex numbers, matrices, further mechanics. Taught by tutors who studied mathematics at postgraduate level.

Biology
Emma Williams

Cell biology, genetics, ecology, physiology. Emma holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from Queen Mary and focuses on the extended answer and data interpretation questions that separate grades.

Chemistry
Emma Williams

Organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. Mechanisms, energetics, and the calculation questions that drop marks consistently. Exam technique alongside content.

English Literature
Priya Sharma

Essay structure, close reading, and comparative analysis. Covers the major A-Level texts. Priya focuses on building an analytical voice that reads as confident rather than descriptive.

Physics
Dr Sarah Chen

Mechanics, waves, electricity, and modern physics. Dr Chen combines conceptual clarity with rigorous calculation practice. Sessions are built around common exam scenarios.

The difference between a B and an A
is usually how you write, not what you know.

Our tutors work on answer structure, mark scheme language, and the precision of technical writing — not just subject content. This is what consistently moves students from 70% to 85%.
