The team.
Eight subject specialists. Every tutor teaches their own subject only. No generalists who take on anything that pays.
A former secondary school teacher who moved to small-group tuition to focus on the students who need the most targeted support. Specialises in building number fluency before exam technique: students who struggle with Maths are often taught the tricks before they understand the foundation. Sessions start with diagnosis, not content.
An experienced tutor in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics. Particularly effective with high-achieving students who want to understand why, not just how. Sessions are structured around worked examples and increasingly difficult problem sets.
Works across English comprehension, creative writing, and the literary analysis required at A-Level. Particularly focused on helping students develop an authentic analytical voice. For 11+ students, focuses on the verbal reasoning and comprehension sections where the most marks are available.
Specialises in A-Level Maths and Further Maths, with particular focus on students targeting competitive university mathematics programmes. Depth to go beyond the syllabus when a concept needs proper explanation, not just a worked example.
Covers GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry. Strong grounding in the applied aspects of both subjects: explains why things work the way they do, not just what the mark scheme says. Focuses heavily on the data interpretation and extended response questions students consistently drop marks on.
How tutor matching works
After your free diagnostic session, we recommend which tutor is the best fit for your child based on their subject, exam board, learning style, and target. You meet the tutor before the first paid session. If it isn't the right fit, we'll suggest a different tutor. No admin fee, no fuss.
